I first met Carol when completing a Masters in Rehabilitation Services at FSU and working at the Human Relations Commission. Carol was always a model for accepting and helping EVERY person, especially those with disability or disadvantages in society. She was a great person, friend and citizen for a better world. Peace and love for Carol’s family and many friends..

I first met Carol in the late 1980s when she attended meetings of the Northwest Florida Water Management District, voicing her passionate concern about the state’s water bodies and the future of the environment. Not only did we discuss regulations and obligations. We talked about my Cajun surname and French heritage—laughing at our similarities. Then, we were reacquainted through mutual friends at social gatherings and at Massage Therapy Associates. Carol was a bright light in every life she touched. In all things, she promoted harmony and honesty. She was a passionate, peaceful defender of Planet Earth. I send my sincere condolences to her family and friends. May we meet again, beside the still waters of the next life, Carol. Rest In Peace.

Please accept our sincere condolences to Carol's family and to all her friends who will always miss her. Carol and I worked together at Massage Therapy Associates for many years. Not only was she a very talented therapist, she was a joy to be around. She was funny, forthright, totally honest, and possessed a special kind of touch.
My husband Richard became a client of Carol's for a number of years after I retired. He appreciated her skill and her healing powers as did I and her many clients. Rick and Carol could go a few rounds over their strong opinions, but they always parted with a laugh and a hug. (And I got to hear about it from both of them!)
We who knew and loved Carol will miss her.

Carol and I worked together at the Department of Revenue many years ago. She was a delight to work with--smart, consistently pleasant, creative and just a wonderful person. I was so sorry to read this news; she is gone too early. My condolences to her family.
I knew Carol only through her emails and comments while I was on the County Commission. But she set the gold standard for grace and thoughtful diplomacy when she wanted to see a change of policy direction. She really could make any day better by getting in touch. What a loss for her friends and family and our community.
Carol knew so many people and had so many friends – the web of those who love her covers all of Tallahassee and beyond. Her strength, the ability to be there and to understand each of those friends, meant that, as different as we all are, she built a very personal relationship to each one. Now, even when gone, Carol is bringing us together. She is so, so missed.
