Brian James Andrews-Larson's Obituary
Brian James Andrews-Larson passed away on June 10, 2024.
Brian was born on born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on September 12, 1982. He graduated from the American School in 2000, playing on the school basketball team. He earned his BS in Psychology from Reed College in 2003, where he coordinated the Spanish House and played on the basketball team. After working as a medical and educational researcher, he took a degree in Nursing at Tallahassee Community College in 2020; his peers awarded him the outstanding Caring Colleague. He worked as an RN in Telemetry at HCA Healthcare.
Brian’s sense of humor, empathy, and generosity were extraordinary. He was a community
builder, uniter, mentor, and exemplary human being. He leaves hundreds of friends who are
bonded by their love of soccer, painting, gaming, good food, memes, Spanish language, Latin
culture, and community.
Brian is survived by his wife Christine J. Andrews-Larson, son Sebastian M. Andrews-Larson,
mother Ana Margoth Andrews, father Keith L. Andrews, and two siblings, Jose E. Cabrero and
Johanna Y. Andrews Trevino.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee at 5:30pm on Wednesday, July 10th, followed by a potluck reception. All are welcome to attend.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, July 11th at St. Eugene Church in Tallahassee.
A private, family only graveside service will be held.
