The Fuller Center tributes keep coming. . .
Fuller Center of Sarasota: We were saddened and taken aback when we leaned of Brenda's passing, we did not know she was ill. Brenda was one of a kind! She shared her story with me about her beloved Glen and how she become involved with Fuller through him. Her work and dedication to Fuller was unmatched. She, herself is irreplaceable, and no matter who fills that position will be at a disadvantage because Brenda had "forgotten more things about the inside workings of Fuller than most of us have never even known!" Her help to me over the first year (and later) when we first started our center, was immeasurable! She will be truly missed. Its comforting to know that Glen was there to meet her when she entered heaven! Our thoughts and prayers are with Brenda's family and coworkers at this time of loss. Blessings,
Kim Roberts: My heart is broken.
Ernest Johnson: I’m jolted and saddened to learn that our friend Brenda is gone. As noted in the post, her responsibilities (formal or informal) were very broad, and I expect that she was a repository of institutional knowledge that may difficult to replicate. I wish you well as you seek to identify one or two persons to replace her.
Brenda was my go-to person for questions regarding the Legacy Builds, and she was always prompt to reply with trustworthy answers or imaginative suggestions. At the personal level, I’ll miss checking in on her (by e-mail) as various storms battered Tallahassee.
Fuller Center of Henry County, GA: It was with heavy hearts that we learned of the untimely passing of our friend, Brenda Barton. She was always such a positive spirit and advocate for those us serving local Covenant Partners. She always provided information and more importantly, encouragement.
Fuller Center of Ashton-Ironton, KY : Brenda has been our go-to person during our transition period to become a covenant partner with The Fuller Center for Housing. We could always depend on Brenda to guide us . She will be sadly missed by our members of The fuller Center for Housing-Ashland-Ironton.
Chris Cosby: My very first volunteer experience was on House #1 in the Chattahoochee Valley in March of 2007. Glen and Brenda were the first faces I saw and made me feel welcome.
Her enthusiasm and bright smile were contagious. I can imagine the reunion her and Glen and Millard are having in that great build site in Heaven! Oyee, Brenda!
This Brenda of ours was truly an example of a person who gave her every thought and breath to make life better for the disadvantaged. Her generous heart inspires all of us to do what we can do make a difference for others. Brenda Popp Tallahassee Fuller Center for Housing.

Jeff Hornsby I loved the times Brenda and I could talk as Brenda would be overseeing a team of volunteer students on a few occasions over a few years as they were re-skirting the homes of our low-income property here at Good News Outreach. Our prayers are with you, and the family in this time of great loss.
