Bobbie June Grattet's Obituary
With great sadness the family announces the passing of Bobbie June Grattet on July 11, 2024 in Tallahassee, FL. She was born on July 22, 1935 in Crossville, AL and was a beloved wife to Louis J. Grattet Sr. for 48 years and a loving mother to Louis J. Grattet Jr. and Darlene Grattet.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband Lou, and her son, Lou Jr.; her father, Fred C. Crow and brother, Freddie Wayne Crow. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene, granddaughters, Skyler and Summer, a son-in-law and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia McElwee, her niece, Heather and nephew, Bryan.
Bobbie served her family as housewife and mother and will be most remembered for her unconditional love and support of her family through difficult circumstances and times of need. She loved the Lord, and through His love, she spent her entire life serving her family through every trial and tribulation, never losing her faith, her smile or her gentle sense of humor. She was a resilient survivor who never gave up on any human soul.
Thank you to the staff of the Big Bend Hospice, Parx Home Health and Enhabit Home Health for enhancing the quality of her life in her final weeks, months and years. Special thanks to Dr. Judith Lewis for her exceptional care.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19 at 2:00 PM EST at Lifesong Chapel located at 20 S Duval St. in Quincy, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Bobbie’s name to Big Bend Hospice.
