Billy Jack Moat, Sr., longtime resident of Quincy, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at his home in Tallahassee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah K. Moat.
Survivors include his sons, Billy Jack Moat, Jr. (Dorothy) of Lady Lake; and Gary Moat (Gina) of Lamont; stepdaughters, Christy Hermanes of Quincy; and Tracy Aguilera of Gatesville, TX; sister, Mary Alice Lydick of Dothan, AL; brothers, JR. Moat of Montgomery, AL; and David Phillips of Bainbridge, GA; and seven grandchildren.
