Aunt Betty was my mentor at Wahneta Elementary where I worked as an elementary school language tutor to the Latino community. She encouraged me to further my career in education but also supported my decision to stay home with my children when I became a Mom. I know she was a faithful Mother to her own children whom she loved with all her heart. I hope her family knows that I respected and loved her. I offer my condolences yo you all. ❤️
I knew Betty through my friend, her daughter, Beth. I met her personally when she treated a few of us to a steak dinner. Betty was a pistol!! Passionate about all the right things she was exceptionally bright, accomplished and involved. The world and our country was better off having her. She was loved and will be missed.
