Betty Jeanne King's Obituary
Betty Jeanne Malcomson King, 93 of Tallahassee, passed away on March 23, 2022, at her nursing home in Quincy, Florida. She was born March 18, 1929, in Le Roy, Minnesota to Stephen Elwood Malcomson and Louise Barnes. Betty was a long time resident of Tallahassee, Florida and a member of Emmanuel Baptist church. Her hobbies and interests included family, fishing, bowling, crafting, playing music and cooking. Betty is survived by her brother, Robert Eckert; 4 sons, Mark, Terry, Stephen and Ron and 2 daughters, Melanie and Debra; and 16 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Clayton Linden.
A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Family and friends will gather at 1:30 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM . In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice in Betty's name.
