Lina wasn’t just my friend… she was my person, my LOML. We met at Mayo and it just clicked. After that, we were stuck with each other.
She had this way about her… she made people feel comfortable, seen, and loved without even trying. Her laugh, her smile, her energy… you just felt it. Being around her was easy.
We did everything together—comedy shows, nights out, parties, random pull ups just to hang out. Nothing had to be planned, we just showed up for each other.
She really did bring happiness and love to everyone she met. She would do anything for anyone and never expect or accept anything in return. That’s just who she was.
This doesn’t feel real, and it doesn’t make sense. She didn’t deserve this. Not even close.

Angelina, my heart sank when I read the email that you had passed away. I loved working with you, even if it was remotely. It was such a pleasure meeting you in person in San Antonio. You were such a sweet soul, full of joy, and full of life. You will be dearly missed and I will miss your voice and your holiday cards. Work will no longer be the same without you. I feel honored to have known you in this life. My heart goes out to your family. I will keep them in my prayers. Only God knows why he needed you more in heaven than on earth.
