Andrew Terpak's Obituary
Andy was born in Scranton Pennsylvania in 1928. He was an amazing husband, father, Pop-pop and great
grandfather. Coming from a family of fifteen siblings he knew the true meaning of family and life.
His legacy shines through his children Drew Terpak and wife Karen; Deborah Dubose and husband Bill,
his granddaughter Dr. Lauren Terpak-Trissell, and husband Dr. Brian Trissell. He also leaves behind two
beautiful, great granddaughters Emma Clare and Anya Joan Trissell.
During his life journey he enjoyed meeting people and making friends, many friendships lasting a
lifetime. With quick wit, he’d love to “pull your leg” with a large grin. He would also be the first person to
help others in a time of need.
While his absence will forever leave an empty space in our hearts and our lives, we have comfort
knowing he is in a better place and more importantly with the love of his life, Joan. They were together
for 55 years and were inseparable. She passed at age 70 from ALS. Dads heart always remained with her,
and we are comforted that they are together again.
A celebration of life will be held in July. Please continue to visit the website for additional information.
