Amanda Carol Combs' Obituary
Amanda Carol Combs, 35, of Tallahassee passed away on June 20, 2022. Mandy was born on April 12, 1987 to Richard and Kathrin Combs. From the moment she came to us through adoption, she was spunky and energetic, keeping family on their toes with her adventurous spirit. She was always getting into something and had so many bumps and bruises that her nickname became “booboo.” She was a fun and funny child and a delight to her family.
As she grew older, it was hard for her to find her place. Although she found singing to be soothing, she never was able to feel like she really belonged. We struggled watching her try to find happiness and contentment. Eventually, she met Christina Shariati whom she married and loved very much. But she still could not find that place of contentment in her mind. She no longer suffers here on earth.
Mandy is pre-deceased by her father, Rick. She leaves behind two precious daughters, Adriana and Lydia, along with her wife, Christina and stepdaughter Kilynn. She is also survived by her mother Kathy, her sister Shelly, brother-in-law David, as well as nephews Christian and Jack of Decatur, GA and her very special Aunt Gran, Sherry Harvey, of Perry, FL. She also leaves behind her grandmother, Glenna Taylor of Mayo, FL and her grandmother, Carol Hoffman of Denver, Colorado, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. We will miss her dearly.
A memorial gathering will be held outdoors at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 25.
