July 2, 1974 - August 9, 2021
Sabra Ann Perkins passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age of 47. Following a life-long battle against diabetes and its resulting health conditions, she ultimately lost the fight with a little help from Covid. After a harrowing battle, in the end, the residual complications proved to be too much for her heart. Sabra is survived by her parents, Patricia Murray Morris and Kenneth Parker; her husband, Paul Fraser; her daughter, Tiana Stefanelli; her granddaughters, Lilly and Daisy Langdon; her brothers and sisters; Marty Parker, Tracie Parker, Betty “Tonia” Blount, Kenny Parker, and James Parker; and her sister-in laws, Kelly Parker and Melissa Rowe Parker. Sabra was born on July 2, 1974 in Miami, Florida. She spent some of her most cherished adult years in New Hampshire until she moved “home” to the Quincy/Tallahassee area in 2016 to be closer to her family. Although happy in Florida, she often longed for her New Hampshire family and friends, whom she loved and missed. Sabra was truly a special and unique soul. She was always smiling, bubbly, and made the best out of every situation. She had a warrior spirit – strong, feisty, stubborn as a mule, and willing to fight for what she believed in – which was most often her family. At the same time, she expressed the grace, discernment, and compassion of an angel. She had little concern for material things and instead focused, unfalteringly, on love. She often saw through people’s outward emotions and actions to the truth of their heart. If you were blessed enough to be family or friend, you knew you were loved unconditionally. She treated everyone around her with kindness… well, unless of course you hurt someone she loves… then you had better watch out. She loved fiercely. She had a whimsical nature. She liked dressing up for Halloween, was captivated by dragons & fairies, especially Tinkerbell, and she absolutely loved dancing! She is no doubt dancing above us now. Simply put, Sabra celebrated life and she brought joy to those around her. In honor of her passion for life, the family will be planning a Celebration of Life service at a later date, the details of which will be provided to friends and family once determined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sabra’s memory to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
