Neil Hamilton
November 3, 1945 - August 21, 2017
Neil possessed the most indomitable spirit I ever knew. The dictionary definition fits perfectly “impossible to subdue or defeat”. His sense of humor, irony and satire was legendary. His ability to listen attentively to someone’s informed and heartfelt advice and then do just what he damn well pleased was equally endearing and fondly frustrating to those close to him. He rarely met a stranger and was a natural at making people feel significant and accepted. Neil enjoyed to life’s capacity every moment of his, weather it involved people, place, cuisine, cocktails, or entertainment. Peace, love and understanding during the rest of your journey. I know he’s rolling is eyes at me right now for using such “fancy” words. My friend of 52 years, I’ll never forget you and will always love you, and many moments will continue to include the words…”Neil would have……” Neil is survived by his sister, Roylynn Hamilton McClellan, a niece, a nephew and two great nephews. He will be missed by all of his family.
