Michael Scott Ferry

April 5, 1960 - February 6, 2022

Michael Scott Ferry, 61, of Tallahassee passed away Sunday, February 6,2022 in the comfort of his home and with his family by his side. Mike was born on April 5,1960 in Virginia, Minnesota to the late Betty Nadine and Carlton Coolidge Ferry. At the young age of 17 Mike enlisted and served in the United States Air Force. After his military service he became a deputy sheriff in Jennings, Louisiana. Later on Mike would begin a career in Hospitality Management which led him to meet many of his closest friends and colleagues. Mike had a sharp wit and a kind heart. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Jeanne Ferry, his children Danielle Breslin, John Betliskey and Sarah Griffin; brother, Gerald Keeley; his brother and sister in law David and Linda Ferry, and sisters Christine Clark and Victoria Messick. Mike had two grandchildren whom he loved dearly and too many nieces and nephews to count. In honoring his request, Mike will be cremated and his family will have a private celebration of his life.
