We also understand some cremations are time sensitive and need to be completed as soon as possible for planned services. And while some things are out of our control we work diligently to obtain signatures and cremation approvals to allow us to move forward with the cremation as quickly as possible. And remember we have an on-site Crematory which allows us to proceed without any further delay. Safe Keeping and Prompt ReturnFamilies often ask us to hold the cremated remains for extended periods of time or deliver the ashes when their physical limitations won't allow them to drive. We're happy to assist with most circumstances. Please ask us about our delivery policy. We also offer mailing services through the United States Postal Service for a small fee. Four cremation options. tailored to your needs.

Lifesong offers cremation service options that can be tailored to meet your needs to honor and memorialize your loved one.

Full Service Traditional CremationThis option is much like a traditional burial where the deceased is embalmed, dressed and placed in a casket for a visitation or viewing and a funeral service to follow. The service can be held at our Lifesong Funeral Home Chapel or a local church. And instead of the service continuing to the local cemetery, the conclusion will take place at the funeral home or church. A rental casket will be utilized in place of the family purchasing a casket. And while offering many of the same benefits as a traditional burial, a traditional cremation is less expensive because purchasing a casket, grave liner and cemetery property isn't necessary.

Cremation with Memorial ServiceThis option is for families choosing cremation who still want a funeral service but do not wish to have a casket or viewing. The Service may be held at the Lifesong Funeral Home Chapel, a local church or even a community center or outdoor venue. Some families choose to have the ashes present at the Service and some do not. If you do wish to have the ashes present please coordinate with the Funeral Home to make sure the cremation can be performed in time.

Direct CremationThis option is for families who do not wish to have a viewing or service of any kind. However, this service does include basic services such as transfer of the deceased from place of death to the funeral home, storage of the remains, completion of the death certificate, burial/transit permit and other necessary paperwork, the cremation process and returning the ashes to the family in a temporary urn.
Online Arrangement CremationThis option is for families choosing a direct cremation who wish to make cremation arrangements from the comfort of their home via lifesongfunerals.com.Arrange Online
